POLÍTICAS FINANCIERAS, DEPÓSITO, CANCELACIÓN Y REPROGRAMACIÓN / 

FINANCIAL, DEPOSIT, CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICIES

 

Estas políticas aplican a todos los pacientes que contraten servicios quirúrgicos a través de ELEBEAUTY, independientemente del método de pago utilizado.

Al reservar servicios quirúrgicos, el paciente acepta completamente estas políticas.

1. POLÍTICA DE DEPÓSITO Y RESERVACIÓN DE CIRUGÍA

1.1 Depósito de programación
Para reservar una fecha quirúrgica se requiere un depósito mínimo de $1,000 USD, el cual:

• Garantiza la fecha en la agenda del cirujano

• Asegura quirófano, hospital, casa de recuperación, transporte y logística médica

• Se aplica al saldo total del procedimiento

1.2 Depósitos menores
Si ELEBEAUTY autoriza depósitos menores a $600 USD:

• No son reembolsables

• No son transferibles

• Solo podrán utilizarse para reprogramación bajo las condiciones establecidas

2. POLÍTICA DE REPROGRAMACIÓN

2.1 Reprogramación solicitada por el paciente
El paciente podrá reprogramar si:

• Notifica por escrito con al menos 14 días naturales de anticipación

• Presenta un motivo justificado (médico o situación personal grave)

Condiciones:

• El depósito no se pierde

• La nueva fecha estará sujeta a disponibilidad

• El paciente cubrirá costos adicionales derivados de:

  • Nuevos estudios médicos

  • Cambios de vuelo

  • Modificaciones en casa de recuperación

  • Reprogramación hospitalaria

• Por cada reprogramación, el paciente se obliga a realizar un abono mínimo adicional de $300 USD, aplicable al saldo total del procedimiento

2.2 Reprogramación dentro de 14 días

• El depósito se pierde

• Aplica cargo administrativo de $500 USD

• Se cobrarán estudios preoperatorios ya realizados

• El paciente deberá realizar un nuevo abono mínimo de $300 USD para poder asignar una nueva fecha

 

3. POLÍTICA DE CANCELACIÓN

Aplica únicamente para depósitos de $1,000 USD o más.

3.1 Cancelación con reembolso parcial

El depósito podrá ser parcialmente reembolsable si:

• Se notifica por escrito con al menos 20 días naturales de anticipación

• Se aplicará un cargo administrativo de $500 USD

• Se descontarán todos los servicios ya realizados (consultas, laboratorios, valoraciones, etc.)

3.2 Cancelación fuera de plazo

Si la cancelación se realiza con menos de 20 días naturales:

• El depósito se pierde en su totalidad

• No se realizará ningún reembolso

3.3 Tiempo de reembolso

• Hasta 2 semanas

• Puede variar según la institución bancaria

​

3.4 Cancelación el mismo día por condición médica

Si la cirugía no puede realizarse por:

• Resultados médicos anormales

• Condiciones no declaradas

• Omisión de información médica

• Incumplimiento de indicaciones preoperatorias

Se aplicará:

• Cargo mínimo de $500 USD por hospitalización y estudios

• Posible pérdida total de pagos realizados

4. CANCELACIÓN POR DECISIÓN MÉDICA

Si el cirujano cancela por seguridad debido a:

• Omisión de historial médico

• Información falsa o incompleta

• IMC fuera de parámetros

• Riesgo anestésico elevado

ELEBEAUTY no está obligado a realizar reembolsos.

La seguridad del paciente es prioridad.

5. POLÍTICA DE FALTA DE COMUNICACIÓN

Si el paciente:

• No responde mensajes

• No confirma llegada

• No entrega estudios

• No completa pagos

ELEBEAUTY podrá:

• Cancelar la cirugía

• Liberar la fecha

• Retener el depósito y pagos realizados

6. POLÍTICA DE PAGOS

6.1 Pago total

El saldo restante debe liquidarse al menos 1 día hábil antes de la cirugía.

En caso contrario:

• La cirugía podrá cancelarse

• Los pagos podrán perderse

Tiempos de procesamiento:

• Transferencias: 3 días hábiles

• Zelle: hasta 2 días hábiles

• Tarjeta: inmediato

6.2 Métodos de pago

• Tarjeta o link: 4% + tipo de cambio

• Transferencia: sin cargo

• Zelle: sin cargo

• Efectivo: sin cargo

ELEBEAUTY no es responsable por comisiones o tipo de cambio.

7. POSIBLES CARGOS ADICIONALES

El paciente acepta cubrir costos adicionales como:

• Reparación de hernia: $1000 USD

• Retoques o revisiones: $1,000–$2,000 USD

• Endoscopia: $400 USD

• Evaluación cardiológica adicional: $150 USD

• IMC mayor a 32: $1000 USD

• Noches adicionales: $150 USD

• Acompañantes adicionales: $125 USD

• Transfusiones, oxígeno o medicamentos: costo variable

No están incluidos en el presupuesto inicial.

8. POLÍTICA DE CONGELAMIENTO

Si el paciente no puede operarse dentro de 6 meses:

• Puede congelar su contrato hasta 12 meses

• Con pagos mensuales de $300–$500 USD

• Nueva fecha sujeta a disponibilidad

9. LIMITACIÓN DE REEMBOLSOS

Los reembolsos son limitados debido a compromisos financieros con hospital, quirófano, personal médico y logística.

 

10. ACEPTACIÓN

El paciente es responsable de leer estas políticas y resolver dudas antes de pagar.
Reservar implica aceptación total.

Políticas complementarias de Recuperación y Cuidados Postoperatorios

1. Requisitos de Estancia y Criterios de Viaje
Tiempo de Estancia Mínimo: Por la seguridad de nuestras pacientes y para prevenir complicaciones como la Trombosis Venosa Profunda (TVP), no se recomienda alta prematura ni viajes antes del tiempo mínimo indicado por el equipo médico.

Restricciones de Viaje: Pacientes que no deseen o no puedan permanecer los días recomendados en Recovery House deben comprender que no están autorizadas para volar ni para realizar viajes largos por carretera de forma inmediata. La movilización prematura compromete la cicatrización y eleva sustancialmente el riesgo médico.

2. Normas de Convivencia en Recovery House
Respeto a la Comunidad: El espacio de Recovery House está diseñado para el descanso y la sanación. Es obligatorio mantener un ambiente de tranquilidad, volumen moderado de voz y respetar la privacidad y el descanso de las demás pacientes.

Prohibición de Sustancias Nocivas: Está estrictamente prohibido fumar (incluyendo cigarrillos electrónicos/vapes) y consumir bebidas alcohólicas. El incumplimiento de esta norma compromete gravemente la cicatrización, incrementa el riesgo de necrosis de los tejidos y es motivo de alta disciplinaria inmediata sin reembolso.

3. Régimen Alimentario y Dieta Postquirúrgica
Nutrición Especializada: La alimentación proporcionada en el Recovery House está formulada específicamente para reducir la inflamación, favorecer la cicatrización y prevenir molestias gastrointestinales tras la anestesia.

Alimentos Externos y Prohibidos: No se permite solicitar o ingresar comida a domicilio ni alimentos externos. Los alimentos con harinas refinadas, irritantes, grasas o sodio en exceso afectan negativamente la recuperación. Al no contar con control sobre la preparación de alimentos externos, no nos hacemos responsables por reacciones o malestares ocasionados por su consumo.

4. Acompañantes
Alojamiento de Acompañantes: La estancia de acompañantes está sujeta a disponibilidad previa. Es importante aclarar que la asignación de espacio para el acompañante no garantiza una cama individual adicional; según la capacidad del centro, la acomodación puede ser en un sillón reclinable confort.

5. Masajes Postquirúrgicos y Citas de Tratamiento
Políticas de Masajes para Procedimientos Combinados: Cuando se realiza una Lipo de Papada en conjunto con una cirugía corporal, la sesión postquirúrgica cuenta como dos (2) masajes independientes en la agenda de la terapeuta (uno para la zona facial/cuello y otro para la zona corporal).

Agendamiento y Pagos Exclusivos por Coordinación: Queda estrictamente prohibido agendar o coordinar sesiones de masajes, citas postoperatorias o sesiones de cámara hiperbárica directamente con el personal del Recovery House o con los terapeutas.

Todas las citas se gestionan de forma centralizada a través de la Coordinación de Elebeauty para respetar la agenda de todas las pacientes.

Todo servicio o paquete adicional debe ser pagado por anticipado para poder confirmar la cita en la agenda.

6. Cuidados Médicos y Retiro de Drenajes
Criterio Médico Exclusivo: La decisión de retirar los drenajes o suturas es facultad única y exclusiva del cirujano tratante. La paciente no podrá exigir el retiro del drenaje por incomodidad ni por fechas de viaje sin haber obtenido primero la autorización previa y el visto bueno médico tras la evaluación correspondiente es importante considerar que debe estar drenando al menos 25 cc para pensar en retirarlo.

FINANCIAL, DEPOSIT, CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICIES

These policies apply to all patients who contract surgical services through ELEBEAUTY, regardless of the payment method used. By booking surgical services, the patient fully accepts these policies.

1. DEPOSIT AND SURGERY RESERVATION POLICY

1.1 Scheduling Deposit
To reserve a surgical date, a minimum deposit of $1,000 USD is required, which:

• Guarantees the selected date in the surgeon’s schedule

• Secures the operating room, hospital, recovery house, transportation, and medical logistics

• Is applied toward the total balance of the procedure

1.2 Lower Deposits
If ELEBEAUTY authorizes deposits under $600 USD:

• They are non-refundable

• They are non-transferable

• They may only be used for rescheduling under the established conditions

2. RESCHEDULING POLICY

2.1 Patient-Requested Rescheduling
The patient may reschedule if:

• Written notice is provided at least 14 calendar days in advance

• A justified reason is provided (medical or serious personal matter)

Conditions:

• The deposit is not forfeited

• The new date will be subject to availability

• The patient will cover additional costs resulting from:

  • New medical tests

  • Flight changes

  • Modifications to the recovery house

  • Hospital rescheduling

• For each rescheduling, the patient agrees to make a minimum additional payment of $300 USD, which will be applied toward the total balance of the procedure

2.2 Rescheduling Within 14 Days

• The deposit is forfeited

• A $500 USD administrative fee will apply

• Any preoperative tests already performed will be charged

• The patient must make a new minimum payment of $300 USD in order to assign a new surgery date

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

Applies only to deposits of $1,000 USD or more.

3.1 Partial Refund Cancellation

The deposit may be partially refundable if:

• Written notice is provided at least 20 calendar days in advance

• A $500 USD administrative fee will be applied

• All services already rendered will be deducted (consultations, labs, evaluations, etc.)

3.2 Late Cancellation

If the cancellation is made with less than 20 calendar days:

• The deposit is forfeited in full

• No refund will be issued

3.3 Refund Processing Time

• Up to 2 weeks

• May vary depending on the banking institution

3.4 Same-Day Cancellation Due to Medical Condition

If the surgery cannot be performed due to:

• Abnormal medical results

• Undisclosed conditions

• Omission of medical information

• Failure to follow preoperative instructions

The following will apply:

• A minimum charge of $500 USD for hospital admission and testing

• Possible full forfeiture of payments made

4. CANCELLATION BY MEDICAL DECISION

If the surgeon cancels for safety reasons due to:

• Omission of medical history

• False or incomplete information

• BMI outside accepted parameters

• Elevated anesthesia risk

ELEBEAUTY is not obligated to issue any refunds.

Patient safety is the priority.

5. LACK OF COMMUNICATION POLICY

If the patient:

• Fails to respond to messages

• Does not confirm arrival

• Does not submit required tests

• Does not complete pending payments

ELEBEAUTY reserves the right to:

• Cancel the surgery

• Release the scheduled date

• Retain the deposit and any payments made

6. PAYMENT POLICY

6.1 Full Payment

The remaining balance must be paid at least 1 business day prior to surgery.

Otherwise:

• The surgery may be canceled

• Payments may be forfeited

Processing times:

• Bank transfers: 3 business days

• Zelle: up to 2 business days

• Card: immediate

6.2 Payment Methods

• Credit card or payment link: 5% + exchange rate

• Bank transfer: no charge

• Zelle: no charge

• Cash: no charge

ELEBEAUTY is not responsible for banking fees or exchange rate differences.

7. POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL CHARGES

The patient agrees to cover additional costs such as:

• Hernia repair: $1,000 USD

• Revisions or touch-ups: $1,000–$2,000 USD

• Endoscopy: $400 USD

• Additional cardiology evaluation: $150 USD

• BMI over 32: $1,000 USD

• Additional nights: $150 USD

• Additional companions: $125 USD

• Blood transfusions, oxygen, or medications: variable cost

These are not included in the initial quote.

8. CONTRACT FREEZE POLICY

If the patient is unable to undergo surgery within 6 months:

• The contract may be frozen for up to 12 months

• With monthly payments of $300–$500 USD

• A new date will be subject to availability

9. LIMITATION OF REFUNDS

Refunds are limited due to financial commitments with the hospital, operating room, medical staff, and logistics.

 

10. ACCEPTANCE

The patient is responsible for reading these policies and resolving any questions before making payment.
Booking implies full acceptance.

Additional Recovery and Postoperative Care Policies

​

1. Length of Stay and Travel Criteria

• Minimum Length of Stay: For patient safety and to prevent complications such as Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), early discharge or travel prior to the minimum time recommended by the medical team is strictly advised against.

• Travel Restrictions: Patients who do not wish or are unable to stay the recommended days at the Recovery House must understand that they are not authorized to fly or travel long distances by car immediately. Premature travel compromises healing and significantly increases medical risks.

2. Recovery House Community Rules

• Community Respect: The Recovery House space is designed for rest and healing. Maintaining a quiet atmosphere, moderate voice volume, and respecting the privacy and rest of other patients is mandatory.

• Prohibition of Harmful Substances: Smoking (including e-cigarettes/vapes) and drinking alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Non-compliance with this rule severely compromises healing, increases the risk of tissue necrosis, and will result in immediate disciplinary discharge without a refund.

3. Post-Surgical Dietary Guidelines

• Specialized Nutrition: The meals provided at the Recovery House are specifically formulated to reduce inflammation, promote healing, and prevent gastrointestinal discomfort after anesthesia.

• Outside and Prohibited Food: Ordering delivery or bringing in outside food is not allowed. Foods high in refined flour, spices/irritants, fats, or excessive sodium negatively impact recovery. Since we have no control over the preparation of outside food, we are not responsible for any adverse reactions or discomfort caused by its consumption.

4. Companions

• Companion Accommodation: Companion stays are subject to prior availability. Please note that reserving space for a companion does not guarantee an additional individual bed; depending on facility capacity, accommodations may consist of a comfortable recliner chair.

5. Post-Surgical Massages and Treatment Appointments

• Massage Policy for Combined Procedures: When a Chin/Neck Liposuction is performed alongside a body surgery, the post-op session counts as two (2) separate massages on the therapist's schedule (one for the facial/neck area and one for the body area).

• Booking and Payments Exclusive to Coordination: Scheduling or coordinating massage sessions, post-op appointments, or hyperbaric chamber sessions directly with Recovery House staff or therapists is strictly prohibited.

  • All appointments are centrally managed through Elebeauty Coordination to respect every patient's schedule.

  • All additional services or packages must be paid in advance to confirm the appointment on the schedule.

6. Medical Care and Drain Removal

• Exclusive Medical Discretion: The decision to remove drains or sutures is at the sole and exclusive discretion of the attending surgeon. Patients cannot demand drain removal due to discomfort or upcoming travel dates without prior medical clearance. Please note that the drain must output 25 cc or less before removal can be considered after the medical evaluation.
